Rocky Mountain Wedding| Edmonton Photographer | Anastasia and Don

Wow is 2016 already, and I am finally getting caught up on the blog. During 2015 had so many amazing weddings and engagements it’s been hard to keep up and blog about them all. This Rocky Mountain Wedding stole my heart…was hard to curate what images to show, hope you like as much as I do the selection.

The Bride and Groom

Anastasia and Don met at a small pub in Red Deer. Due to a mutual friend, the two reconnected almost a year later and Don asked Anastasia for her number.

From the south of France to the Rocky Mountains

Seven years later, they got engaged on a beach in the south of France while camping and touring around Europe in a 1964 Volkswagen van.

The Wedding Day

A relax rainy morning by the fire for the girls and a beer or two plus some anecdotes for the boys, is how Anastasia and Don got ready before the I do’s. In a very cosy and familiar atmosphere.

Just in time for the ceremony the sun came through the clouds. After a toss to the newlyweds and bridal party photos by the river, we headed towards Kinbasket Lake for a few portraits of the bride and groom.

The evening celebration with friends and family from all over the world, fun speeches and dance moves was a wonderful way to close the night.
