The greatest hike proposal in The Rocky Mountains
Peyto Lake Engagement Session
Chris and Chelsea had planned a beautiful hiking trip to the mountains with friends.
Chris was going to propose at the top of the Rockies and its breathtaking views, however, mother nature had different plans, surprising them with rain and waist-high deep snow along the trails.
Due to the poor conditions, they did not make it to the summit and everyone hiked back down, some ended up with minor frostbite even. Chelsea was warming up in the back of a friend’s truck and Chris was too excited to wait any longer to ask her to be his wife, he dropped to one knee in the rain and snow and popped the question. Needless to say, Chelsea jumped out of the truck quickly thereafter.
Chelsea’s words “The moment Chris proposed caught me entirely off guard. I knew his plan was to propose and the excitement of knowing that lasted months for me, however at the moment I was just incredibly happy and full of love.”
Their love for adventure, the outdoors and hiking made us decided for a mountain engagement session, and what better place than Banff National Park and the breathtaking view of Peyto lake.
Chelsea and Chris
This adventurous couple met at a work conference that Chris did not want to attend, Chelsea sat nearby and did not think much of him but he thought at first sight that she was a beautiful woman. Later on, due to work circumstances they met again and Chelsea was intrigued, to say the least, it took Chirs a week to invite her out…the rest is history.
These two share my love for animals and they are proud parents of three dogs. Their household can be at times crazy and loud as you can imagine with three four-legged fur friends yet for sure a fun-loving home, cherishing every silly moment. Chelsea and Chris described themselves as Adventurous, ambitious, fun-loving, easy-going and outgoing, goofy, and for sure animal lovers, definitely my kind of people.
