Boudoir Inspired Bridal Fantasy Magazine Feature | Kristilee

THE INSPIRATION

I have always loved red hair and have been wanting to do a session with a red hair woman for a while.  As soon as I made the decision to move forward with this shoot there was only one person that came to mind for my model. Kristilee is also a talented local photographer as well as my beautiful red-headed friend so I knew she was the perfect match.

THE SHOOT

Kristilee had recently got married and I asked her if she would be ok using her wedding dress for our session. My vision was that I wanted to show any future brides that they can take a moment, step back in time to use and enjoy their dress one more time but in a less rushed way. Wedding days always go by so fast and brides don’t really get the time to just enjoy how they look and feel in their dresses.  It’s such a special time when women feel extremely beautiful in their gowns but many don’t have the time to just admire themselves in them and this is what I wanted to portray.  I feel like we truly created a sensual boudoir-inspired session and hope that this opens an opportunity for more women to be able to feel sexy and beautiful even after their wedding day has passed.

FEATURE

I am extremely honoured to have had this shoot featured in Bridal Fantasy Magazine.  Make sure to take a moment and head over and check out the full spread on page 132-133 HERE.

I am also very proud to share that Kristilee’s portraits from this set ranked 8th out of over 5,000 photos in the Styled Shoot Category at the Shoot and Share contest and another portrait from this session placed in the Top 100.

Enjoy!
